My Vow To Never Be Helpless Again

Up until a few years ago, the criminal law knowledge only extended as far as what I had seen on courtroom dramas and news coverage. So when I found myself facing criminal charges for a crime I did not commit, I must admit that I was less than optimistic about my ability to prove my innocence. Thankfully, I was able to find a qualified attorney that was willing to take on my case. After the charges against me were dropped, I was determined to never allow myself to feel so helpless again. So I started dedicating my free time to learning more about criminal law and how I could have handled the situation differently. It is my hope that by starting this site, I will be able to share with the world everything that I have learned so that no one else needs to experience what I did.
